IAPH announces the appointment of Catherine Chow as regional development director for Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, and Chinese Taipei. Catherine is a seasoned executive with extensive multicultural experience spanning global corporations and China’s State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) within the supply chain sector.

Catherine’s distinguished career in the maritime and ports sector includes serving in various senior executive roles including senior consultant at China Merchants Port Holdings (CMPort), shareholder representative & chief corporate officer of Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT), and general manager of AAT Dongguan Co. Ltd. Prior to these roles, she held key positions at Jardine Shipping Agency, Jardine Logistics Services, and Modern Terminals.

Currently, Catherine leads her own public relations and marketing consultancy firm, specialising in supporting enterprises within the maritime and supply chain sectors. She was recently appointed as a Committee Member of Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT HK) under the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILT HK). Furthermore, she continues her involvement as an active member of the Logistics Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC).

IAPH managing director Patrick Verhoeven commented: “it is a pleasure to have Catherine onboard to engage with our membership and attract new regular and associate members. Catherine’s grasp of strategic project management, international business development, and cross-border collaboration over a career lifespan is complemented by her extensive network of contacts across maritime terminals, sea and airfreight logistics, e-commerce supply chains, and international industry institutions. Much as Ennarasu Karunesan has achieved significant impact as regional director for South Asia as has Guimara Tuñón Guerra representing our Central and South America region, we welcome Catherine to the IAPH family and look forward to growing our presence with her support.”
