IAPH rebrands and launches a new, content-rich website

IAPH has rebranded and launched new, informative and user-friendly upgrade to its main website as part of the next stage of the change process of the organization.

In an interview with the new IAPH brand designer Pavlov, IAPH Managing Director Patrick Verhoeven explained the purpose and process behind the new look:

IAPH MD Patrick Verhoeven explains the “Making of”

“As part of the overall change in direction of the organization , we started back in 2018 with the creation of the World Ports Sustainability Program which had its own branding. Following on we then conducted the same exercise in terms of content and look for two of our other products, namely the IAPH World Ports Conference and then our members’ magazine Ports & Harbors. Afterwards, with the completion of the reform process in 2020, we started to look at the “mother” brand, namely IAPH, to ensure a consistency across all of our projects and products.”

New port profiles contain useful data and news from IAPH members

In addition to descriptors of the three key Technical Committees (namely Climate and Energy, Data Collaboration and Risk and Resilience), the new IAPH website has a number of extra features including profiles and news on individual regular IAPH members per region as well as Associate IAPH members serving those ports.

A new overview of the IAPH organization and activities is available in various formats including the newly formatted IAPH 2021 Annual Report which summarizes the achievements and milestones of the Association in the last twelve months.

With the reform of the IAPH brand family now complete, Patrick Verhoeven draws a parallel with the next chapter for the Association: “Reaching this milestone goes beyond a design exercise. It really does reflect the continuing evolution of our organisation moving forward with a singular objective : adding value for our existing and potential members.”
